WATER TORNADO "WATERSPOUT" SPOTTED OFF CEDROS
Mother nature put on a show in the waters off Cedros on Monday morning. The waterspout was spotted off Galpha Point on the south coast of the peninsular.
A waterspout is a column of water which is funnel-shaped cloud which occurs over a body of water which is associated with severe thunderstorms. It is usually accompanied by high winds.
It caused no damage and moved in a westward direction out to sea before dissipating
The Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service whether forecast did indicate a 70 per cent chance of heavy shower and thundershower over the western areas of Trinidad.
